Through her Organization, she intends to encourage the young ladies to not be followers but rather to be the leaders they were destined to be not only in America but in Africa and throughout the world. The winner becomes a goodwill ambassador for Miss Africa America Pageant a role model, spokesperson and the face of the Organization for a whole year. Miss Africa America’s agenda is to display not only beauty, glamour, and elegance but to see purpose filled black women strive in society and be the leaders they were destined to be.

The young entrepreneur moved to America from Sweden at the age of twenty-five to follow her dreams. Oumie is currently a model and actress. She is in the movie, “Sorry to Bother you” directed by Boots.  The movie stars Lakeith Stanfield, Tessa Thompson, Steven Yeun, Armie Hammer, Danny Glover, Terry Crews, Omari Hardwick, Jermaine Fowler, Kate Berlant, Patton Oswalt, and David Cross. Was in all the theaters in America on July 6th, 2018.
She is currently involved in several movie projects in Los Angeles where she currently resides. Oumie Garba is one of the many students of Tasha Smith an American actress, director, and producer. She began her career starring on the NBC comedy series Boston Common (1996–97), and later has appeared in numerous movies and television shows and is director and producer of “When love kills” starring Lil Mama and Lance Gross.
